Fun Run Of the Glens- FROG Cycle and FROG Legs

Glenravel Community Complex, Ballymena

Saturday 15th June 2019

Join hundreds of cyclists and runners taking on the Glens in this fantastic annual event – Fun Run of the Glens 2019!

Participants have the option to donate on the day (recommended minimum of £30) or commit to raising a minimum of £125 to receive a highly sought-after FROG 2019  cycling/running jersey (personalised with your name).



Registration open from 7.30am, event starts at 9am

No matter what your cycling ability, there’s an option to suit you. Choose your route:

FROG 2019 is not a competitive race so you can take your chosen route at a pace comfortable for you.


FROG Legs & FROG Feet

Registration open from 9am, event starts at 10am

FROG-Legs – Race (Timing and Prizes) – Hosted by the Glens Runners

  • 10 mile – Speedy Scenic alternative take on the Glens of Antrim
  • 10 km – the ‘Tadpole’ – Short sharp Run

FROG-Feet (For those who prefer Walking)

  • 10 mile – Scenic alternative take on the Glens of Antrim
  • 10 km – Short sharp walk (for anyone)

Anyone raising over £125 will receive a personalised FROG 2019 running top. Dogs are permitted providing owners raise the minimum of £125.




Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided for all participants, kindly supplied by the Rapid Relief Team.

A little on the main man behind the event: 

Paul McToal has come close to cancer in his life and wanted do something to help – and so FROG was born!  He wanted to organise a cycling event that would raise money for charity and in 2018 surpassed the amazing £250k milestone.
