Slieve Donard Christmas Supermoon Walk – 4th December 2025

Challenge yourself with the Slieve Donard Christmas Supermoon Walk!

Starting at 7.30pm on Thursday 4th December 2025 and making it to the top of Slieve Donard around 11pm, where you can take in the spectacular ‘Cold Moon’ the final Supermoon of 2025.  Don’t forget to pack your Santa Hat for this Christmassy challenge.

We will follow the well-known route from Glen River, past the ice house up to the saddle and then a final climb to the summit.  The pace of the climb is set by the group, suiting all abilities and will take on average  5 hours.

Get your santa hat and torch ready for this must-do supermoon challenge!

Minimum age is 18.
