Eeco Energy is charged up as they announce partnership with local cancer charity
Local energy experts, Eeco Energy, are thrilled to launch their new partnership with Cancer Focus Northern Ireland, aiming to raise vital funds to support local people on their cancer journey. Staff and customers are ‘powered up’ with plenty of plans for fundraising events, volunteering and raising cancer awareness in the workplace. All funds raised throughout the year will stay local and fund the charity’s highly in demand support services, along with sustaining the charity’s first Therapeutic Cancer Support Centre in Enniskillen.
Rosie Forsythe, Corporate Fundraising Manager, from Cancer Focus NI said, “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Eeco Energy on board as a corporate charity partner. Their commitment to sustainability and community wellbeing aligns with our mission to support people affected by cancer across Northern Ireland. Together, we hope to make a powerful partnership.”
She continued: “In order for us to provide our free cancer support services to patients and families, Cancer Focus NI need to raise £4.6 million each year, which we could not do if it wasn’t for the help of businesses like Eeco Energy.”
Stuart Laing from Eeco Energy said, “Eeco Energy is proud to team up with Cancer Focus NI, supporting their life-changing work for local patients and families. As a local business, we believe in doing our bit for the community, and we’re delighted to contribute funds that help Cancer Focus NI deliver vital services right here where they’re needed most. Every pound we give helps provide support, care, and hope to those affected by cancer in our area. Together, we’re making a real difference—because supporting local charities means supporting our neighbours. We’re committed to helping Cancer Focus NI continue their incredible work for local people.”
The charity’s new strategic direction will see Therapeutic Support Centres opening over the next 5-7 years, bringing their cancer support services directly to towns and cities across the country. Businesses will play a huge role over the coming months and years by ensuring the delivery and sustainability of the Centres.
