Cycle the Carlingford Loop for Cancer Focus Northern Ireland

Join Hundreds of Cyclists for an Epic Challenge – Sunday, 18th May 2025!

Take on the Carlingford Loop Sportive, a 62km cycling event around the stunning shores of Carlingford Lough. Starting and finishing at Albert Basin, Newry, this sportive offers breathtaking views, a fantastic challenge, and a great cause—raising funds for Cancer Focus NI.

    Start & Finish: Albert Basin, Newry
    Registration from 7:00 AM, event will begin at 8:00am (Approximate timings, subject to change)
    Entry Fee: £40.00 (Including Carlingford Lough Ferry)

  • The Route

    Riders will start at Albert Basin, Newry, heading to Greenore for a private ferry crossing exclusively for Cancer Focus NI cyclists. From Greencastle, the route follows the scenic coastal roads through Kilkeel, Rostrevor, and Warrenpoint, before finishing back in Newry.
