This Christmas, with your kind generosity, we can continue to provide vital services for people living with cancer here in Northern Ireland.
Services such as our creative Art Therapy, which is unique to Cancer Focus NI and gifts patients, carers, and their families the freedom to express emotions such as fear, anxiety, stress, and depression. Especially important at a time when their words can fail them.
“After such a tough time, it was so relaxing to lose myself in the art. I’ve found it a real comfort and loved the company. The therapy has provided me with the opportunities to meet other local people who have been affected by cancer. I have been able to learn new skills like needle felting and art journaling which has kept my mind free from worry and filled with positive creativity.”-Patricia
With a large emphasis on mental wellbeing, 145 patients last year engaged with this bespoke service via group sessions, craft workshops, art journalling sessions both at Cancer Focus NI and inside Belfast City Hospital.
It is thanks to your support that we can continue to fund this service into 2023 and help people cope with their cancer diagnosis and treatment journey.
So please get into the Spirit of Christmas this December by asking friends and family to donate to Cancer Focus Northern Ireland in place of gifts for Christmas this year.
