Hooray for Key Workers!

Hooray for Key Workers!

Calling All Primary Schools!

Help us celebrate and say a special thank you to all key workers, including those who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to help care and support cancer patients and their families during this really difficult time.

We’re calling all children to get creative and dress up as any key worker they like. There are loads to choose from – from nurses and fire officers to retail workers and teachers – all uniforms are welcome…

It’s easy to get involved! Primary schools simply register for free and choose a day that suits them to host their non-uniform day. Each pupil is asked to donate £1 on the day and schools are encouraged to set up a Just Giving Page to help with their fundraising efforts!

Schools which sign up will receive a fundraising pack and support from our fundraising team.

  • Where will the money go?

The money raised will help to fund our important care services, which are vital to local cancer patients.

Due to coronavirus, our offices and retail stores have closed and our fundraising events have been cancelled. As we’re 90% dependent on fundraising, this means that income for the charity has reduced to critically low levels. We’re looking at an 80% loss of income over the next six months.

We need your support now more than ever to save our services so we can continue to help people affected by cancer in the future. Thank you.
