Take on the challenge of the Mourne Way Marathon Walk!

The 2024 Mourne Way Marathon Walk is back! The Marathon & half marathon walk will take place on Saturday 1st June.

It will be fully waymarked as course traverses the Mourne Mountains and takes in some of the best scenery and trails Ireland has to offer!

An exceedingly beautiful course, walkers and runners will cover an array of different terrain, from forest track, to open mountain. Spectacular views, steep mountain sides, rivers forests and everything in between await those brave enough to toe the start line. A journey that will take you across every type of terrain the Mourne’s has to offer!🚶‍♂️🌄

  • THE MOURNE WAY MARATHON WALK

    Choose from two distances:

    26 Mile Marathon Walk
    13 Mile Half Marathon Walk

    Registration for Full Marathon: £60

    Registration for Half Marathon: £40

    Suggested minimum sponsorship: £85 – we kindly ask all our fundraisers to raise as much as they can!

    Please note once entered, no refunds or credits of any kind can be offered for withdrawals from the event. We also advise reading the 26 Extreme’s terms and conditions before entering.

  • Causeway Coast Marathon Walk

 

The Walk will run alongside the Mourne Way Marathon hosted by 26 Extreme. 

As with all 26 Extreme events, there will be a high level of support throughout the course. Participants in all events will be chipped timed by our timing partner and we will provide split times and finish times for all participants after the event. Participants will also receive a medal to mark their incredible achievement.
