Challenge yourself to make it to the highest peak in Northern Ireland – in the dark!
Friday 20th May 2022 starting at 7.30pm, we plan to make it to the summit around 11pm, where you will be able to stargaze and marvel at the lights of Newcastle and beyond, before returning to Donard Car Park for a well-earned hot cuppa.
We will be taking the well-known Brandy Pad Route – the main track up & down alongside the Glen River. The duration of the climb depends on the group’s pace, but on average takes 5 hours.
Get your torch ready for this must-do challenge!
Minimum age is 16. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
