Take on the challenge of the Tollymore Forest Marathon Walk!
The Marathon Walk will take place on Saturday 14th November 2020.
This is the perfect end of year walking challenge! The fully marked gravel track course follows a series of trails deliberately showcasing the beauty of Tollymore.
To abide by Covid-19 guidelines there will be no mass start. We are doing an ‘open’ start between 9am-12pm to ensure social distancing is possible at all times.

TOLLYMORE FOREST MARATHON WALK
Choose from two distances:
26 Mile Marathon Walk – (2 laps of the marked route)
13 Mile Half Marathon WalkRegistration for both events: £35
Suggested minimum sponsorship: £80
Please note once entered, no refunds or credits of any kind can be offered for withdrawals from the event. We also advise reading the 26 Extreme’s terms and conditions before entering. Entrants must be over the age of 18.
In regards to Covid-19, our priority is participants and staff health and safety. We are working very closely with our Events Partner 26 Extreme and the local council. So while this event is going ahead there may be some changes. We highly appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this time.
In addition, there will be a new bolt onset of Social Distancing rules to keep everyone safe on the racecourse. This will be posted to you in the lead up to the event and made available online. It is very important that you read them carefully and help us with the return to events.

The Walk will run alongside the Causeway Coast Marathon hosted by 26 Extreme. Having established itself as one of the most scenic marathons in the world, the inaugural 2019 event is set to attract participants from across the globe that will come to compete alongside fellow runners on this fantastic route.
As with all 26 Extreme events, there will be a high level of support and feed stations en route. Participants in all events will be chipped timed by our timing partner and we will provide split times and finish times for all participants after the event. Participants will also receive a medal to mark their incredible achievement.
