When someone you love dies you may wish to celebrate their life and their memory in a special way. You’ll know the best way to remember them, but a Forget Me Not Fund offers a way that both celebrates their life and helps others affected by cancer in Northern Ireland.
Named after the person who has died, the fund allows friends, family and colleagues to dedicate their combined fundraising efforts under one name as a unique and lasting way to honour the memory of a loved one and keep their memory alive.
If you’d like to chat to somebody about the possibility of setting up a Forget Me Not Fund, fill out the contact form below and we’ll be in touch. Learn more about how these funds help local people.
Following Nicola’s untimely death from cancer at age 30, her family set up a Forget Me Not Fund to raise money in her memory to support our local research.
“We chose Cancer Focus NI as all monies are kept and used in Northern Ireland. Nicola studied Biomedical Science at Queen’s University Belfast so was very aware of the importance of cancer research. We feel this is a fitting tribute to Nicola and a special way to honour her memory.”
Jean McKenna, Nicola’s mum
