May McFetridge named as official starter for Moy Park Belfast City 5K Fun Run

One of the greatest and most recognised local celebrities, May McFetridge, has been named as the official starter for the Moy Park Belfast City 5K Fun Run, taking place on Sunday 17th November… just before May takes to the Grand Opera House for ‘the pantomime adventures of Peter Pan’ from 30th Nov – 12 Jan!

The event will start at the front of Belfast City Hall and finish on Donegall Place. With a route through the heart of the city centre, the fun run promises the best of Belfast’s landmarks, history and culture… made even better by a Christmas glow.

Seasonal fancy dress is encouraged, so get those Santa hats and elf shoes at the ready! You can choose to run, walk or jog the 5K – it’s open to all ages and abilities.

Loved and adored by the public, May McFetridge is sure to add to the festive fun.

Designated charity partner, Cancer Focus NI, would love your support through this event. All monies raised will help fund their vital cancer support services across Northern Ireland. With every penny raised going a long way, Cancer Focus NI are encouraging any Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, or Vixen, to pop on their most Christmassy jumper to run, jog, walk, wheel, or sleigh for Cancer Focus NI.”

Everyone that registers will receive a merry medal at the finish line, and the event will be chip timed! Bespoke t-shirts are available for just £10 (adult) and £7.50 (child) but quantities are LIMITED so enter early to avoid disappointment.
