Registration – Pre-registration is recommended however there will be a limited number of spaces available on the night.
Car parking – There is a large carpark available at East Strand Beach.
What to bring – you can dip in whatever you wish, a swimming costume, a wetsuit or even fancy dress. Everyone must bring a headtorch so you can see the water and stay close to those around you.
Please bring a change of clothes and a towel for after the dip e.g., gloves, warm dry socks and boots, a windproof layer and we especially encourage everyone to wear a hat to help prevent heat loss through the head.
Mass Dip – The dip will take place at 8pm – make sure you are there and ready to go by 7.45pm as there will be a brief safety announcement.
Sponsorship – If you wish to set up a Justgiving page for people to support you then let us know and we can help. Any sponsorship money that you have collected can be brought with you on the night or alternatively you can send it into our office at 40-44 Eglantine Avenue, Belfast, BT9 6DX after the event.
BASALTsix – Everyone who purchases a ticket will be entered into the draw to win a beautiful dry robe kindly donated by BASALTsix. We will carry out the draw after the event to ensure everyone who enters on the night is included. BASALTsix have also donated some fantastic spot prizes to be won on the night.
Be sure to visit their shop in Coleraine to get everything you need before braving the waters!
