CRASH Services, JMK Solicitors and Granite Exchange announce Cancer Focus NI as 2025 charity partner

NI’s leading vehicle accident management company, CRASH Services, NI’s number 1 personal injury solicitors, JMK Solicitors and Newry based serviced office space and meeting room hire company, Granite Exchange have announced their new 12-month charity partnership with local cancer charity, Cancer Focus Northern Ireland.

Michelle Murphy, Operations Director at CRASH Services said, “Each year, our staff nominate a charity that is close to their hearts. This year our team felt it was important to concentrate our efforts on providing support services for cancer patients and their families, as well as cancer prevention. We are therefore delighted to announce that our new charity partner for 2025 as Cancer Focus Northern Ireland.”

Louise Mone Managing Director at JMK Solicitors said: “We are delighted to partner with Cancer Focus NI and are committed to raising much needed funds through a series of events planned throughout the year.  The team have been sponsored to run the Belfast City Marathon as well as various other internal events.  Our staff also have the option to opt-in to a monthly salary sacrifice scheme whereby an amount is donated each month directly to our selected charity.”

Colleen O’Hare Managing Director from Granite Exchange concluded: “We look forward to the year ahead and doing what we can to help Cancer Focus Northern Ireland in supporting local people live their most fulfilled lives with access to vital cancer support and prevention services along with funding world-class and innovative local research.”

Meg McKeown, Corporate Fundraising Officer at Cancer Focus NI beamed: “I am absolutely delighted to be working with the staff at CRASH Services, JMK Solicitors and Granite Exchange throughout 2025. Every year, we need to raise £4.6 million pounds to continue to deliver our vital cancer support services and corporate partnerships play an integral part in our charity’s fundraising. We are looking forward to working with the staff who will make a positive difference to the 1 in 2 local people who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis in Northern Ireland.”

The charity is entering an exciting new chapter of bringing specialist cancer support to towns and cities across Northern Ireland as they plan to open five Cancer Support Centres over the next 5-7 years; the first of these will be opening in Enniskillen early 2025. The Cancer Support Centres will deliver a number of vital support services to the local people of Fermanagh including counselling, family support, specialist bra fitting, art therapy and a patient driving service. Businesses will play a huge role in the charity’s strategic direction over the coming months and years by ensuring the delivery and sustainability of the Cancer Support Centres.
