Oars at the ready!
Gather your colleagues for the battle of the corporates on the River Lagan on Friday 6th June 2025 in the race to be crowned Cancer Focus NI Dragon Boat Champions!
No previous experience is required for this corporate team-building event as each team will be guided by a qualified instructor who will helm the Dragon Boat. All you will need is your best team of 12-18 colleagues and a great team spirit to raise vital funds to support local cancer patients and their families across Northern Ireland.
Don’t miss out on this incredible fun filled day out for you and your colleagues to bond while also making a lasting impact on local men, women, and children in Northern Ireland on a cancer journey.

All aboard and ready for the challenge?
Sign-Up Cost: £600 per boat which covers seamless event management, support staff and all health and safety equipment needed on the day.
Number of participants: each boat requires 12-18 paddlers (no experience required!)
Suggested fundraising target: we would encourage each team to fundraise £1500 to allow us to continue delivering cancer support services and fund local research right here in Northern Ireland.
If your team fundraised a combined total of £1500, this donation could pay for 26 hours of Family Support, a service that helps local families navigate a cancer diagnosis, process emotions and prepare for the future.

On the day:
There will be two timed trials per team to determine qualifiers for the next round of heats with the fastest teams progressing on to battle in the grand final to become Cancer Focus NI Dragon Boat Champions!
While not on the water, there will be a DJ providing entertainment, delicious food to help you re-fuel, props for team photos and of course lots of fun ways to win other prizes on the day!
Prizes up for grabs: Dragon Boat Champions, Best Team Spirit, Best Fundraisers, Best Fancy Dress.
